Zatanna has had a very intense week. Since my sister got into town I have been dragging the little girl everywhere we go well almost everywhere. She did not go with us to Six Flags or with my bro and I to the Cards game but she was not at home for either of those and she handled most of it happily. She is still getting a bit of seperation anxiety which isn't supposed to start for a little while but she gets it. She is always smiley and happy with her mommy but when you put her with someone else if mommy is not in sight she can get a bit upset. Even poor Doug told her one day when he picked her up and she started crying until she saw me "Don't you cry at me and smile at your mommy" soon after she was very happy to be with her daddy. Sometimes she is just mommys girl in I love Daddy clothes. :) She does love her daddy very much though and will follow him with her eyes a good percentage of the time he is home. Which I find fitting since he is the fun one! He is the one who taught her about flying and so now if you hold her facing front she will bend over so that she can fly around. She often prefers this to any other position.
She went to her first garage sales with grandma Allen, Aunt Charity and mommy on Friday. we were out from 830 to noonish and she only got grumpy a few times and not for very long. A lady at one of the sales absolutely thought she was the cutest thing ever. She asked to hold her which I had no problem with and she just raved about how precious she was and that she never asked to hold peoples babies because she finds that awkward but Z was just too precious not to hold. I was a very proud mommy! She got a couple new outfits and Aunt Charity bought her some cute toys including a hand puppet of cookie monster which as soon as I figure out how to clean it may make its way over to grandpa Penny since he is the puppetmaster in the family :) on the condition of course that cookie monster still loves cookies none of this new age cookie monster is healthy crap that some hoosier came up with. He is a monster for heavens sake people get a grip...
Lastly today, Z went to Bob Evans this morning for a farewell breakfast to Aunt Charity and Uncle Geoff. They gave us a sling to sit the car seat in which I have never seen and frankly is amazing!! Anywho, she loved it. She was all smiles and could not stop looking at everything. So, as long as I keep her fed I think Baby Z will do beautifully in social settings!! Yeah!!
