2 months and 3 weeks

I can't believe how the time has flown by. It seems just yesterday I found out I was pregnant. It continues to amaze me how much she changes every day. When we brought her home from the hospital, she would eat, cry, sleep, look cute. Now, she babbles the cutest things, plays on her play gym and just seems so alert and ready to go all the time. When she babbles you wonder if she is conveying a message or just imitating what you have done to her either way it is sooooo cute!

She currently sleeps at least 8 hours a night. When 8:30pm rolls around boom she is out. I thought it would be different if we happened to be away from home but we were at my parents the other day and at 8:15 my dad said oh she wont be asleep by 8:30 and promptly (I swear) at 8:30 she was asleep. She did wake up at 9 when I left my moms but she was only up for a little while when we got home.

She is perfecting her your not listening to me scream. She has her "maaaaaaah"whimpers for I am hungry or tired or teething(yeech already) and her screams for I am gassy, reallllllllly hungry or just tired of looking at you and want to be moved around. Just kidding that is usually more of a grumpy shout than a scream. :)

I have been extremely lucky! Although my mom told me none of us kids were as difficult as people make children seem so maybe I am just listening too much to that crowd mentality that is 99% bulls@##. Either way she is such a good little girl and I worry about her every moment.

Going back to work was not as hard as I thought until recently when she is changing so quickly. Somedays I would rather stay home and watch her grow because I know she is only this small for a matter of time. I am glad she is in good and capable hands with her grandparents so things are not too horrible except for that one moment. The one where I hand her over and have to say "See you later, little one" and she looks at me with those cute eyes and I just melt and want to forget it all.
